An attractive trio made by The Staffordshire Teaset Co Ltd. at the Plex Street Pottery Tunstall. 

Dating from the Art Deco period and using hand finished transfer printed sprays of pretty hedgerow flowers with a bright gold gilt on a scalloped edge, giving them that little touch of class and framing the decoration splendidly.

There are seven trio's available, all in generally good condition but subject to some age related crazing to the surface but nothing to get excited about.
They are a smashing period set of the usual quality tea cup and saucer dimensions.

Approx. 7 inch - 18cms for the side plates and 2 3/4 inch - 8cms for the cups and 5 3/4 inches - 15cms for the saucers.

Extremely attractive, yet delicate and subtle, they would grace the very best tea time table.
